Below we detail our Terms and Conditions by which all users of our service are bound. To return to previous page click here:
  1. By accessing or using our Service you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein.
  2. The Candidate grants all permissions necessary for the use of Candidate Data by a Recruiter, its employees or agents, expressly including permission to pass on such Data to relevant interested third parties, and the storage and use, where appropriate, of Candidate Data by paralegalnet.co.uk in pursuance of the aims of the Services.
  3. The Candidate warrants that: * it has gained all permissions, expressly including copyright, necessary for the use of Candidate Data in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; and
    * the Candidate Data is not libelous or in any other way unlawful; and
    * the Candidate Data (expressly including attachments to e-mails) is free of computer viruses and that a commercial virus checking agent has been used on any attached files.
  4. The Candidate grants permission and acknowledges that Candidate Data may be used to compile statistical information on the Candidate and may in addition be used by paralegalnet.co.uk during the Registration Period to update the Candidate on other products and services.
  5. The Candidate agrees to fully comply with these Terms and Conditions, including the acceptance of liability as detailed in clauses 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 herein.
  6. Subject to full compliance with these Terms and Conditions paralegalnet.co.uk agrees:
    * to allow the Candidate to access and use the Services; and
    * not to amend or edit the Candidate Data; and
    * to use its best endeavors to promote the Paralegalnet service effectively and generate site traffic; and
    * not to distribute Candidate Data to third parties other than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions in the satisfaction of the aims of the Services.
  7. All rights in "Paralegalnet", "paralegalnet.co.uk" are reserved.
  8. All goodwill in the Services shall accrue to paralegalnet.co.uk.
  9. Commisson rates as specified on our web site apply to vacancies filled via the Paralegalnet service.
  10. We reserve the right to accept or reject or vary the advertising on the site by law firms.
  11. The Candidate agrees to make all communication regarding paralegal vacancies advertised on the paralegalnet web site through Paralegalnet or its web site.
  12. The Candidate agrees to include the supplied Paraleganet Job Reference Number in any communication with the recruiter regarding a vacancy advertised on the paralegalnet web site.
  13. The Candidate accepts responsibility for the content, accuracy and integrity of the Candidate Data (expressly including computer viruses) and all liabilities flowing from the use of such Data.
  14. The Candidate shall indemnify paralegalnet.co.uk against all costs claims demands or expenses incurred by or made against paralegalnet.co.uk as a result of any breach of these Terms and Conditions or howsoever arising.
  15. Neither paralegalnet.co.uk, its agents or servants shall have any liability whatsoever to the Candidate for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage cost or expense suffered or incurred (whether arising in tort, contract or otherwise, and whether arising from the negligence of paralegalnet.co.uk or its employees or agents or licensors and whether asserted against paralegalnet.co.uk or against the Recruiter, its employees or agents arising out of the use or supply of the Services or the Candidate Data).
  16. For the avoidance of doubt, paralegalnet.co.uk expressly does not make any representation or give any warranty, either express or implied, for:
    * the content, accuracy or integrity of the Candidate Data on behalf of the Candidate; and
    * the suitability of a Candidate for a particular job; and
    * the accuracy or fitness for any purpose of the information provided on the Services; and
    * the type of use of the Candidate Data, expressly including the data protection policies of the Recruiter and/or any third party to whom the Candidate Data is distributed; and
    * the content, accuracy, integrity, lawfulness or otherwise of information on websites over which paralegalnet.co.uk has no control.
  17. paralegalnet.co.uk reserves the right to prohibit access by person(s) to the Services at its sole discretion.
  18. Any recruiter, its servants or agents, interested third parties and interested employers acknowledge  that the candidates give directions in their registrations as to the methods and times of communcation to be made to them in response to the registrations. The employers hereby undertake to adhere to such conditions of communication (and to indemnify paralegalnet from any actions or claims arising from any failure to follow and adhere to such specified methods of communication)
  19. paralegalnet.co.uk reserves the right to remove, alter, change or vary the Services at any time without notice.
  20. The provision of the Services are governed by the Laws of England and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  21. paralegalnet.co.uk reserves the right to vary or amend the above Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.
